1. Duties of care, including but not limited to:

• performing technical acts with or without medical prescription as well as medical acts entrusted to you;

• monitoring and evaluating residents’ parameters;
• the preparation of the medication according to the prepared prescription, with its verification and administration;
• delegating technical medical assistance documents to caregivers, within the legal limits;
• etc.

2. Continuity and quality of care through:

• establishing the care plan;
•  providing necessary resident information at team meetings to ensure continuity of care;
•  sharing information and working in collaboration with other functions or services (eg physiotherapist, occupational therapist, dietician);
• informing the attending physician about the health and physical, mental and social condition of the residents and consulting him about the indicated therapy;

3. You perform care tasks by:

• assisting residents with daily personal care and hygiene;
• ensuring the general comfort of the residents;
• helping residents eat and drink;
• providing instructions to caregivers;

4. Inform and support residents and families on a psychological level by:

• welcoming, supervising and supporting new residents;
• providing explanations to residents, visitors and people providing local care;
• supporting loved ones in case of death;
• listening to residents’ concerns and discussing issues with them;
• encouraging residents to find interesting daily occupations;
• supervision of community activities;

5. You perform administrative tasks related to residents by:

• recording resident data and care treatments performed;
• keeping resident care records up to date;
